protocol, try setting write permission for your user on Steam folder...

Hey guys, bit of a noober here. Trying to install steam on Server Standard x64. installs fine but when i attempt to run it, it gets 26% updated then gives me an error that says failed to get attributes, win32 error. help

Hi, does someone know, how to install only specific apps from "Desktop Experience" feature? I really want "Mobile Device Center" and "Windows Media Runtime (codecs)", but I don't want other bloatware like Windows Defender, Live apps, WMP, etc... Vlite/WAIK doesn't work with Server 2k8... :-/

Hey Arris thanks for making that 2008 R2 thread a Sticky! I've been meaning to update it, but there isn't a lot of stuff I could add... I will soon though. Even if they are just doubled from 2008 R1, if they are proven to still work then it'll go in there
