I have been trying to get readyboost to work. I have the service install and it works I can get a USB flash drive to work, but when I switch the computer off or restart, the memory stick says it is 100% free and that there is nothing on it.
I go into the options for the USB drive and look at the readyboost option it tells me that I can use the drive. Is there anyway to fix this?

Set the Disk Defragmenter service to automatic.
