So my UEFI mobo came in today which was a Asus Crossfire V and I planned on raiding a couple hitachi 1.5 TB drives to it. After going through 5 install disks including a ubuntu 10.04 I finally gave up.
Following Operating systems failed:
Windows 7 Pro x64
Windows 7 Ultimate x64
Windows 7 AIO 42 in 1 (32 bit probably why)
Windows Server 2008 R2 Red Sensation
Ubuntu 10.04 (64 bit)
The lesson learned is that the driver for raid on a UEFI board (AMD I think) sucks.
