+1 it would be great and allow me to get local access (presently i'm only on rdp) or prevent to have to buy new hardware.

After trying to port over the Windows 8 stack like in 2k8 (and eventually hitting a wall where things silently failed and I couldn't find any errors anywhere), I backtracked and miraculously had success using the latest Toshiba Bluetooth Stack.
I did have to cancel the driver install step (which the main installer didn't mind and finished successfully), manually modify C:\Program Files (x86)\Toshiba\Bluetooth Toshiba Stack\Drivers\tosrfusb\tosrfusb.inf to match my USB bluetooth dongle's PID, and do a one-off disabling of driver signing so that I could install the driver. Upon (normal, signed) reboot, the rest of the Toshiba drivers auto-installed and the stack seems to be working fine.
YMMV. Haven't used the Toshiba stack in a while; does v9 still have the 30-day license restriction? There's no mention of it anywhere in the UI.

Thanks for that. Looks like they updated it in July; it'd be interesting to find an old version and see if it mentioned the 30-day limit that used to be in place.

Edit: Looks like there still is the 30-day limit; the tray icon says that the evaluation period has 28 days remaining. Oh well...

I've installed this Bluetooth Toshiba Stack and it got working my Bluetooth, Intel Centrino N-1030, BT 3.0. With no problems. Unfortunately can't get Intel drivers to install. This stack has got 30-day evaluation? can't see this anywhere.

You'll see the number of days remaining if you mouse-over the tray icon.

It says Bluetooth Manager, and that's it. In about menu - nothing. I've used this link:
