GTA IV and EfLC with all versions (patches) run on 2008 if optional "Compatibility and reliability updates" are installed, and additionally both games do not use GFWL (this means no online play). xLiveLess.dll (skip GFWL on launch and on saved games) forum, explaination and download www.gtaforums.com/index.php?showtopic=388658
