I currently have Windows XP x32, Windows Server 2008 x32 and x64 triple booted on different drives. I was trying to get some things to work better in the x32 version of WinServ2008 and found that things can be switched on or off using the BCDEDIT. The bellow link will help you to figureout the boot loader complexities. It will also help those with modofying the older boot.ini file.

BOOT.INI and BCDEDIT.EXE
