Boy do I love this forum !! Getting stuff to work on S2k8 that I didn't use on Vista in the first place is much more satisfying than just removing it from Vista with vLite. At least I learn something. Like how to make an install.wim with Desktop Experience enabled out-of-the-box and at the same time without Windows Mail by installing in a VM, enabling desktop there, creating a new install.wim from the virtual partition and _then_ removing Mail from it with vLite.

hey lars, good to hear that and to have you here! ;)

That's also exactly the reason I am using 2008 server! :geek: Just like to have a clean Windows where you have to "hack" the needed Vista applications into the OS. :)

See you around!

Arris
