Well when I tried to register the dills, alot of them didn't work for the tablet input panel.... The important one TipBand.dll failed with error code 0X80004005. When I looked up the error most people said it was due to not running an elevated command prompt, but I ran it as an administrator... Maybe it won't register because some of the other dlls won't register? Or maybe it needs a registry key.... I'm not savvy enough to figure this out, so I hope someone else would help.
We just got a usb tablet device and the Tablet PC Input Panel would be awesome to have. This would probably be easy for someone else to do, so I'm asking for help...
Maybe someone could simply get the XP version to install on windows 7 (take off the version checker). The Microsoft Windows XP Tablet PC Edition 2005 Recognizer Pack is downloaded at
http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/en/details.aspx?FamilyID=080184dd-5e92-4464-b907-10762e9f918b&DisplayLang=en. There are even some table pc power tools, but I can't get any of them to install on my non tablet pc (but I want to use my usb tablet to do the same stuff). They are downloaded (again for XP) here:
