Well, I uploaded the new version of Games Explorer installer which contains a lot of small bugfixes, a lot of new registry entries (looks like all needed Games Explorer registry entries are now successfully ported) and one big bugfix - basic Windows Parental Controls support (Wpc.dll and Class reg entries for it), so you can now play games like Bioshock or Tinker without any problems...
Enjoy! ;)

Er... download link?
Also, is it OK to just install it over a previous version?

And yep, you can install it over a previous version (I tried it in VM and had no problem with it).

Hello, I found out that my installer of Games Explorer has a small bug...
It creates a GameUX reg folder (with name set from your profile ID) in HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\GameUX but it doesn't set correct permissions for it.
So you can't add games to Games Explorer manually.
The solution for this issue is simple - add full (Read/Write) permissions for your user to your (your ID) folder.

Well, I uploaded a new version of my installer...
It now includes a fix for this issue and also small bugfixes like two new registry entries.
P.S. Arris, please update links on your web with this version, thanks. ;)

I used last week's version of the installer and got the W7 games working per the instructions in the Wishlist thread. I added the permissions you described above. Couple of issues:

* After adding the Games item to the Start Menu, the installed W7 games do not appear. How do you add the individual games?
* Game animations only work on the Admin account. On regular user accts, they don't work, and the option is disabled in the game's Options dialog. Any fix?

Sorry, but I can't help you because I don't know. :(
I'm working only on Games Explorer feature, not Windows 7 games...

No problem. I found I could add the games simply by dragging the exe into the GE window.

Well, I (again) uploaded a new version of my installer. It has some small bugfixes...
This is probably the final version of my Games Explorer installer!
