Hi !

Desktop Experience feature is not included in HPC Edition. Also HPC Edition is for big configs.
Better use a regular Enterprise Edition for Desktops and Laptops. 8-)

Also in what concerns switching Director's Cut to German, you need the German LP pack for R2 !!! You need to add it via Regional/Languages in CPL.

There is a DVD from M$ with all R2 LP's on it.

There is also another way to get R2 Workstation in German !

1/ You need to download a German R2 ISO Trial version from M$

2/ You download then from here http://www.microsoft.com/windowsserver2 ... fault.aspx

or LP's :

http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/en/d ... laylang=en

All languages :

oem_folder_setupcomplete_runonce_mui_0.4.0.rar

or

oem_folder_setupcomplete_runonce_mui_no_apps_0.4.0.rar

It will convert your German R2 release to workstation automatically.

This working great for me on my laptop! I have now enabled the Hyper-V role and created some VM's for software development work.

If you could make this based on the Microsoft Evaluation image instead of TechNet image that would be awesome, as those with serials could just use theirs and those of us just wanting to try things out with the 180-day evaluation could do so.

Well this is the December release.

We actually wanted to wait till R2 SP1 RTM iso's are out on TN to make a new one.

We'll add some exta versions to the ISO that will make it like a little AIO. 8-)

I'll talk with the 4 Horsemen team about it.

Hi Neige and Happy New Year!

I have a few ideas to say about the converter...
1. The converter is unpacking its rar file to the directory the converter files are in. It's a good idea to use %TEMP% instead of this because for example, if you are running the converter from a read-only network location or a CD, it won't work.
2. Please include the default_aero_cursors.reg script (in the "Tweaks" section). It sets the Aero cursor theme as a default theme for newly created users, and mainly - in the logon screen.
