Hello everyone, at first i would like to THX "The 4 Horsemen of the Apocalypse" project, for this great relise. I have some problems with my favorite browser and can't resolve it by myself, thats why i try to get help here.
After few windows and software updates, i notice that my chrome browser have problem with flash playing, some content freez, sometimes error message "microsoft visual c++ redistributable" appear, and i deside to uninstall it(visual c++). After i reboot my computer, flash content on sites starts to work more not properly ,there is no sound in videos, on vk.com audio player do not runs and still microsoft visual c++ errors. When i use IE everythink works properly and its ok, but i can't use IE for a long time, i like my chrome browser. Can anyone helps me to resolve this problem?

Have you tried uninstalling all the C++ redists and Google Chrome and then reinstalling?

You could also try disabling hardware acceleration on the video/flash content page itself. For example if you are watching a YouTube Video right-click inside the video and choose "Settings" then uncheck "Enable hardware acceleration".

The latest update for Chrome could be giving you problems on your hardware as well. Use a file archiving site such as File Hippo and download an older version of Chrome to test out. Try version 15.0.x instead of 16.0.x see if the same performance problems exists.

Possibly updating your display drivers might solve some issue especially if you use the built-in sound option on the card.

The latest Google Chrome browser already has the Adobe Flash plugin installed when you install the browser from google.com/chrome. Perhaps it was a corrupt installation on your end. That would explain the problem with Adobe Flash. How is everything else running on R2 on your system? Any other problems?

I install it on my laptop "asus k50ab" just a month ago, and there is no problems with anything else yet. Its greate for me, that i can learn new features and technologies of 2k8r2 on my everydayuse pc without installing virtual pc's, because of limitation of my RAM and resourses. Next step, i want to install it on my netbook "toshiba nb550d" =) Big thanks guys, for release and for support!!!

Chrome was the clear winner in the popular Peacekeeper browser benchmark by a considerable margin on my system.

Congrats to Google Chrome for becoming the world's 2nd most popular browser, overtaking Firefox in market share.
