Hi !
I installed WS 2012-Release Preview (RP) a few hours ago.
But i can´t get WLAN working, i have added WLAN in server manager / features as usual,
but i can´t connect.
I see all available networks, it starts to connect but then nothing happens.
Have i missed something or is there a bug in WS 2012-RP ?

Hi !
I have managed to get an internet-connection.
The problem seems to be encrypted WLAN-connections, in my case WPA2-Enterprise here at the university.
I´m running WS2012-RP now, and i can connect to an open WLAN-network at the university, and also to my own smartphone using WPA2, but not to an WPA2-Enterprise network at the university.
Any ideas on how to fix that problem ?

Maybe you can find out more information about the problem by enabling tracing of the wireless adapter using the netsh wlan set tracing command as described here. Another possibility is to use SecureW2 instead of Windows built-in provider, however it seems that that this application is not free anymore... Good luck!

thanks. yes, i was thinking about logging the connection procedure. I just did a google-search about it, and i found a thread on technet, so i´m not the only one having this problem. I`ts not only on WS-2012-RP, but also on W8-CP & W8-RP. Too bad, because it means that i can´t do any surfing etc. with WS2012-RP until this has been solved.
