Hello people!

The RTM of Microsoft Windows Server 2008 R2 will be officially released soon and of course we “computer enthusiastics” will tweak it to a more clean and probably faster version of Windows 7. This way we can have a better gaming experience, development machine or home pc and thereby learn a lot of new stuff about the Windows (Server) Operating System!

To guide you in the steps of transforming the Server Operating System into a Home Workstation this website is created and a manual is written. Because I write it once and you and 10.000ths of other people read it over and over again I want you to advice me about the layout I should be using. Beneath are a couple of different examples I created, so choose and vote which one you want to see in the new Windows Server 2008 R2 to Workstation Manual! Also suggestions for an layout other than the examples below are welcome.

Layout 1: Large images with captions layout

1. Boot up your Windows Server 2008 dvd. If you see the screen below, choose the approperiate settings and click Next.

2. On the next screen just click the button Install Now.

3. Select the version of Windows Server 2008 that says Full Installation. Don’t select one of the Server Core Installation’s, because then you won’t have a GUI ;-)

Layout 2: Enlargeable images with text beside

1. Boot up your Windows Server 2008 dvd. If you see the screen below, choose the approperiate settings and click Next.

Layout 4: Your idea?

Also: Would you like to have the external links to be opened in a new window/tab or in the same window?

You can vote and comment at the forum: win2008workstation.com>Forum>Feedback>Vote for layout or just leave a comment here if you don’t want to register.

Thanks in advance! :)
