Microsoft's is always confusing in the Policy editor and this one is no exception. You want to "turn on" (enable) the feature of "turning off" the sound. <strong>Admin:</strong> This page is alright: We want to hear the startup sound, so we don't want to turn it off. If we choose enable, "Turn off Windows Startup Sound" will be activated and we won't hear anything.
